People with learning disabilities, their friends, family and carers in Hull and the East Riding can get advice and information about the support available to them at a free event next month at the KCOM Stadium.
The Carers’ Information and Support Service (CISS) has relocated its offices to the Calvert Centre on Calvert Lane from King Edward Street in Hull.
As part of Carers Week, the Carers' Information Support Service is offering people the chance to drop in for a cupcake and a cuppa - and a chat about support for carers. If you look after a loved one, we can tell you about the people and organisations who are there to help you, to give you information and to give you a break, if you need it.
East Riding Carers Support Service and Hull’s Carers Information and Support Service (CISS) are joining forces to bring a brand new event aimed at people living with dementia and those who care for them to the region. The new event, called ‘Living with Dementia’, will take place at Hull City Hall 10am-3pm on Wednesday 26 April.
Carers Week starts on 6th June and to celebrate, the Carers’ Information and Support Service (CISS) is taking to the road. CISS will be rolling out their information bus to offer support, information and guidance to unpaid carers across Hull.
